Hazardous Shipments Guidelines and Resources
Please coordinate the packaging and labeling requirements of any hazardous/dangerous goods shipments with Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) in Safety and Risk Services (SRS). Lithium Batteries
When shipping lithium batteries, including those contained in or packed with devices and equipment, you need to adhere to packing and marking requirements as per dangerous goods regulations.
Lithium battery labels must be 100% visible without being covered or marked.
Packages must not have any tears or punctures.

Dry Ice
To request the processing of a shipment that includes dry ice, please complete the FedEx Request to Ship Dry Ice form linked below. This is not a shipping label, this is a shipping request form. Sections 1 through 6 must be completely filled out, including the recipient’s phone number.
Note: not all shipping options are available for dry ice hazardous/dangerous goods.
