Finance and Administration Shared Services (FASS) Human Resources provides comprehensive HR support to departments across campus. We partner with units to recruit and retain talent, manage employee relations, process payroll, and maintain accurate personnel records. Our team serves as a liaison between departments and central HR offices, ensuring compliance with university policies, collective bargaining agreements, and state and federal regulations.
Recruiting
We support departments throughout the hiring process, from position development to final offer:
◆ Advising on recruitment strategies and job descriptions
◆ Managing searches in MyTrack and serving as the office of record
◆ Coordinating advertising, interviews, and search logistics
◆ Providing recruiter participation in searches (standard or premium support)
◆ Guiding hiring managers on offers, equity, and compliance requirements
◆ Managing onboarding communications and tasks for new employees, including checklists, forms, and orientation support
