Hello FASS Partners,
I am writing to provide an update regarding our plan to transition out of Jira and the move to our new FASS Service Experience. Our long-term goal has been to align with the larger campus community by adopting Team Dynamix (“TDX”) as our primary request collaboration tool. After further reflection and an assessment of available resources, we made the decision to accelerate that alignment. Rather than fully transitioning to Smartsheet, I am excited to let you know that we will begin an immediate implementation of Team Dynamix (“TDX”) as our platform for the FASS Service Experience. Please share the following information with your teams as appropriate.
The initial implementation will launch this Wednesday, March 4th and will continue over the next several months. Here is what to expect:
Wednesday, March 4: All Jira tickets will be transitioned to FASS Service Requests (“FSR”) in TDX. New requests will initiate an FSR ticket in TDX.
Human Resources/Payroll: Please continue to email fass@uoregon.edu for all your HR/Payroll requests. In the next couple of months, we will launch intake forms that will provide for more efficient processing of requests. Stay tuned!
Business Operations:
- Please continue using the FSR form (rebranded BOSS form), linked on your department workspace.
- Please continue to email invoices to fsacctspayable@uoregon.edu
- There is no change to the Requester View or Budget Approver view.
- Purchasing Assistance and Contract intake requests from the FSR form will generate an FSR ticket in TDX to allow for easy communication. (same process as now just in TDX rather than Jira)
- We will be working over the next several months to move all request types and tracking to TDX.
